Somerset Wildlife Trust at Glastonbury 2016
The brief: to design and facilitate the Trust’s presence at the festival, including activities for public engagement, staff facilities and logistics of getting on and off site. Over the course of the event people were invited to create a Secret Garden using upcycled junk. We had dragons and spiders and waterfalls climbing up the walls of the yurt. Kids had their own gate to come through, and adults an archway of wildflowers, we had glitter tattooes and fascinating facts alongside SWT’s skulls, books and experts talking all things beastie.

Unique Boutique at Exeter Phoenix 2009 – 2019
This is where Unique Boutique Events started! Exeter Phoenix is our home. In 2010 Eleanor was working at the box office of Exeter Phoenix, meeting all these amazing creative people in the city, when she was struck by the idea of a contemporary craft market. Not to be hidden away in the auditorium, but a craft market taking over the bar, the foyer and the hall ways of the quirky Georgian building. Over the years Unique Boutique has consolidated a reputation in the city as one of the foremost and best events for independent makers in the south west.

Pop Up Shop, Seaton 2016
The brief: Seaton’s high street had seen a spate of independent businesses close resulting in a number of empty windows clustered together. As a way of supporting the town’s traders during the Christmas shopping period, Unique Boutique brought a little colour and life to the recently vacated Greengrocers, and created a pop up shop selling work from Devon based makers. All the shops have since been filled with independent businesses and there is a flourishing cultural quarter in the town.
